North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) is a stunning sand island near Brisbane, offering pristine beaches, freshwater lakes, surfing, hiking, and whale watching, easily accessed by ferry for day trips or longer stays, and is a popular escape known for its natural beauty and rich Quandamooka culture. Artist, Marion Hughes Queensland, Australia Marion lives lives close to Stradbroke Island, an extremely popular seaside holiday location. A dedicated and prolific award winning artist , Marion has international and Australian awards for watercolour paintings in particular, wildlife portraits, birds, and landscapes with an expressive, abstract style and classic techniques. Recently has been putting her creative flair into her pottery. |
