Holiday Touring may involve walking and stair climbing in places visited. It is important that all tour guests have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in itinerary activities without the need of assistance from others. Tour guests are responsible for managing and carrying their own belongings and equipment.
1. Booking & Holiday Payments
A booking deposit of $500AUD (or 10% of the tour price) per person (a condition of booking) is invoiced at the time you book. Bookings are not secured until payment has been received and processed. Final payment (taxes included) is due 60 days prior to the arrival date
*Some accommodation inclusions require prepayment to accept a booking.
Booking deposits and prepayments are not refundable. Prepayments will be advised and included on your invoice/statement. We recommend that you have Travel Insurance that covers your holiday payments.
2. Minimum Numbers and Alteration to OPTIONS and/or Painting Holidays Tour Prices
Each Painting Holidays Tour has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of tour guests joining our tour.
In the event that fewer than the minimum number of tour guests have confirmed their booking 61 days from the date of commencement, or there are unforeseen changes or other circumstances that impact on tour costs, Painting Holidays reserves the right to offer alternative arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified price.
3. Cancellations
A 7 day “cooling off period” applies to all bookings where no fees apply to your booking. There are no refunds for tour services not utilized while on a Painting Holiday. We recommend that your travel insurance covers 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Fees – Should you wish to cancel, fees will be incurred as follows:
Within 0 - 60 days prior or no show • the price of the Tour booked
Within 61 - 89 days prior • 50% , the price of the Tour booked
Within 90 plus days of the tour date • no cancellation fee* (*Excludes Booking fees, all prepaid fees and deposits for all dates.)
4. Travel Insurance
To join the tour we require that you are covered by insurance for medical emergencies during the Holiday Tour. Painting Holidays recommends you have Travel Insurance to cover prepayments, Booking and cancellation fees that could result from illness, accident or other unforeseen circumstances prior to or whilst you are travelling.
5. Painting Holiday Accommodation
We request that tour guests organize their flights to arrive prior to midday on the starting day of the Painting Holiday at the Tour accommodation where possible. If this is not possible then we recommend that guests arrive a day early.
Tour guests will be given details of the Tour hotel upon confirmation of the tour reservation. (Usually the Artist and/or tour manager will be staying at the accommodation the evening prior to the commencement date).

6. General
In the unlikely event that a Painting Holidays tutor is unable to perform his or her duties due to unforeseen circumstances,
Painting Holidays reserves the right to substitute another artist as tutor to continue with the tour as planned or to provide
a refund to guests equivalent to the value of the Painting Holidays tutor costs or a portion thereof at our discretion.
7. Personal Data
All personal data provided by guests and suppliers remains strictly confidential at all times.
Painting Holidays will not provide any personal or financial data or tour details to third parties directly as a result of tour guest claims or submissions for compensation for cancellation of a holiday other than copies of invoices supplied to the tour guest as requested directly by a booked tour guest or his or her nominated emergency contact.
Guests or visitors are deemed to have agreed to sign up to newsletters published online by Painting Holidays.
Listed recipients can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the base of the newsletter. This may include emails, Facebook, Instagram and other apps.
8. Refunds and Substitution
Painting Holidays will not substitute or refund any part (or whole) of a service that is not used during your tour.
9. Responsibilities
Painting Holidays, their agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with Painting Holidays and a Painting Holidays Tour shall act only as agents for the passenger in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants, or any other service, and do not assume any liability whatsoever, for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or of default of any service provider, hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any services included in a Painting Holidays Tour itinerary. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism, or other causes beyond Painting Holidays control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, rerouting or acts of any government or authority. Baggage remains at owner’s risk throughout the Painting Holidays Tour. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of these services. We reserve the right to withdraw any Painting Holidays Tour and/or to make such changes to a Painting Holidays Tour as may be found desirable for the convenience of the participating parties and the proper carrying out of the Painting Holidays Tour itinerary. Details for all services will remain subject to and bound by the service provider and/or Painting Holidays confidentiality agreement.
10. Contract
Registration for a Painting Holidays Tour constitutes a legal and binding contract which shall be construed in accordance with the Laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Guests or visitors browsing this site and/or submitting bookings or enquiries are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions set out on this page. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice as and when it is found to be desirable for participating parties and delivery of tours.

1. Booking & Holiday Payments
